A release page a small label can be proud of

A small label puts a lot into each release — the mastering, the sleeve, the press — and then announces it with a post and a link to the same streaming page as everyone else. The label’s own site is often a list of covers that haven’t been updated since the last one.

Make yours — see it before you payOpen the live demo

The kit Music — A website for a release that plays it — and the song moves the scene.

Música makes a site for one release that plays it, with the label’s details where a collector looks for them: the label name and catalogue number under the title, the release date, the full credits. The artist’s tour dates, the platforms and a sign-up for the label’s news follow. It’s one release per site, so it works as the campaign page for the record you’re putting out now.

What your site shows

  1. Title, label and number

The artist, the release, the label and its catalogue number — SAL 012 — with the release date, over the cover turned to light.

  2. The record plays

Every track in order by a spinning record; the light moves with each one and the page takes on its palette.

  3. Where to get it

Bandcamp for the vinyl, the streaming services, the video — words round a halo, each with its link, and no logos.

  4. Credits and contacts

The liner notes and credits, then the booking and press addresses and a sign-up for news from the label.

Have this ready

  • The release’s MP3s — up to twelve, each under 25 MB — and the cover.
  • The label name, the catalogue number and the release date.
  • The links to the release on each platform and on your store.
  • The artist’s bio, the credits and any tour dates.
  • The booking and press emails, and a free Web3Forms key for news sign-ups.

Worth knowing

One site per release, one address each

Give each release its own address — a subdomain like sal012.yourlabel.com, each its own site on Cloudflare Pages. The guides that come with the kit show how to put a site online; ask on the included call if you want help planning several.

Publish the page before the date

Put the site up with the single, and change it when the full release is out. There’s no countdown: the date line says it, as in “Out 25 September”.

Agree with the artist what plays

The page plays full tracks. Settle with the artist and any distributor what goes on it — the whole record, or a single and a preview — before you publish.

Questions

Can it show the whole catalogue?
No, it’s built for one release. For a catalogue, many labels keep a simple list page that links to each release’s site. If you plan several, write to us before buying so we can talk about how to do it.
Does it sell vinyl?
There’s no shop inside it. The platforms ring links to where you sell: Bandcamp, your store, a distributor.
Can the site be in English and Spanish?
Each site is in one of the two languages. Everything you write goes in as you write it, so you can use the one your listeners share.
What does it cost?
The kit is €500, paid once, with all the files, the publishing guides and a 30-minute call. Hosting a static site on Cloudflare Pages’ free plan costs nothing.
