A website for your meetup that people remember between editions

A meetup runs on a rhythm — every month, every season — and usually on someone else’s platform, where your group looks like every other group and the page goes stale the day after.

Make yours — see it before you payOpen the live demo

The kit Event — A website for an event, its day lived on its own LED wall.

Evento gives the next edition a page of its own: the date counting down at the venue’s door, the evening’s talks lit up on the wall, the speakers’ faces in pixels. When it’s over, it thanks everyone and keeps the field for the next one; you change the date and the talks in the wizard and download it again.

What your site shows

  1. The next date

The venue’s door at night with your meetup’s name in neon, and the countdown to the next edition running on the ticker.

  2. The evening

Doors, two or three talks, drinks: each one at its hour, named in large type over the seats and filmed from an angle of its own.

  3. Who’s speaking

Each speaker in pixels on the wall, and then in the list with the talk they give.

  4. Where it is

The address with a map link, the practical lines — the floor, the buzzer, step-free access — and a photo of the space if the host lends you one.

  5. Between editions

After the date, a thank-you and an email field for the next one, each sign-up sent to your inbox through Web3Forms — or, without it, the visitor is asked to write to your email.

Have this ready

  • The meetup’s name, and this edition’s date and hours.
  • The host venue’s address, and how to get in.
  • The evening’s order, with the time of each talk.
  • A portrait of each speaker.
  • If it’s free, the link where people say they’re coming.
  • A free Web3Forms key for the next edition’s sign-ups.

Worth knowing

Reuse it every edition

The wizard keeps your answers in the browser where you filled it in. For the next date, change the date, the talks and the speakers, download it again and upload it over the old one.

A free evening still needs a button

Add a ticket called “Free” with the link where people sign up — Meetup, Luma or a form — so the button has somewhere to go.

Ask the host for a photo

A picture of the room helps first-timers find it and know what they’re walking into.

Questions

Does it replace Meetup.com or Luma?
It replaces the page, not the list: there are no member accounts or RSVPs on it. Keep collecting names where you do now, and link to that from the page.
Can past editions stay online?
The page is about one edition at a time. To keep an old one, publish it at another address before you replace it.
Does it need a server?
No. It’s a folder of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts and your pictures that any static host can serve; Cloudflare Pages does it for free.
Which language is it in?
Spanish or English — one per site, picked in the wizard, which writes the dates in that language too. The kit is €500, paid once.
