Promti vs Wix: a finished page in 3D, or a builder for any site
Wix is a website builder. You start from a template or an AI draft, change anything in its editor, and pay for a Premium plan to use your own domain and take Wix’s branding off. A blog, a store and bookings can be added as you need them.
Promti starts from a finished site instead. There’s a kit for each kind of business — a single product in a 3D studio, a place told as one day, an app on 3D phones and a laptop, a studio’s work hung in a 3D gallery — and you make yours by answering a wizard, watching the site build as you type. You pay once and download it.
The real difference: Wix gives you the tools to build and run a site of any shape, hosted by Wix for as long as it’s online; Promti gives you one page in real-time 3D, finished, with the files in your hands.

Promti fits when…
- The page itself has to make the impression: one product, a place, an app or a studio’s work, shown in real-time 3D.
- You’d rather pay once and keep the files than pay for a plan as long as the site is online.
- One page covers it: who you are, what you offer, and a button to buy, book or get in touch.
- You want to see the finished site, with your own words in it, before paying anything.
- Payments or bookings already run somewhere else — Stripe, Cal.com, Airbnb, Booking.com — and the site just has to send people there.
Wix fits when…
- An online store with a real catalogue: many products, a cart, discounts and gift cards.
- Bookings handled on the site itself: services, classes, staff calendars and notifications.

What each costs
Promti is €500, once, tax included. Hosting on Cloudflare’s free plan costs €0, which leaves the domain at around €10–15 a year: €500 plus €10–15 for the first year, €500 plus €30–45 over three.
Wix, at the prices on its Spanish page (yearly plans, before tax): Light is €14 a month, which is €168 a year and €504 over three years. Core, the first plan that takes payments and bookings, is €25 a month: €300 a year, €900 over three. The domain is free for the first year only; after that it’s paid on top, and Wix adds the tax for your billing address at checkout.
Beyond year three, a Wix plan keeps renewing for every year the site is online, while a Promti site keeps costing only its domain.
Questions
- Is Promti a website builder like Wix?
- No. Wix gives you an editor to build whatever site you like. Promti gives you one finished page from a kit made for your kind of business: you fill in your words, colours and pictures, but the layout, the scene and the motion are already done.
- Can I add pages or a blog to a Promti site later?
- Not from the wizard: every kit makes a single page. The download is plain HTML, CSS and JS, so a developer can build on it, and the licence lets you change whatever you like. If a blog is at the heart of your plans, Wix is the better fit.
- What happens to my Wix site if I stop paying?
- Wix keeps it online on a free wixsite.com address, with Wix ads, and your content stays. Moving it to another host isn’t an option: Wix’s help centre says a Wix site has to run on Wix’s servers. A Promti site has no plan to lapse; it lives wherever you put the files.
- Can I try each one before paying?
- Wix has a free plan to build on, and your first Premium plan can be refunded in full within 14 days. With Promti you make your own site in the wizard for free and see it on a phone and a desktop; you pay when you want to download it.
- Can Wix do 3D like a Promti kit?
- Wix has its own animations built into the editor: entrance, scroll, loop and hover. For 3D, its help centre suggests embedding outside code in an iframe, which Wix support doesn’t cover. A Promti kit is built around its 3D scene from the first frame.
